Channels are the new home for music communities on Sound.

How it works:

Channels are new, dedicated spaces on Sound to discuss and discover specific genres of music and meet other fans with similar music taste.

Each channel has its own unique feed, where you can start or join a conversation about specific genres of music on Sound. By creating a destination for more focused conversation, we hope to encourage more sharing, discussion, and discovery of the incredible music and artists on Sound.

Anyone can join a channel and start a conversation by creating a post – or join a conversation by upvoting or replying to an existing post.

We're starting with four, genre-specific channels (hiphop & rap, electronic, pop, and Latin) to help us learn and iterate in a contained environment. We'll be gradually introducing more channels over time.
